TOPICS OF THE MONTH

  • A GIANT thank you to everyone who donated food at the Neon dance! We collected 606lbs of perishable food items for the Willowbrook Food Pantry here in Sherwood. 3rd grade brought in the most items and earned an extra recess!

  • RIDGES FAIR is coming up on May 16th. We are actively planning and would love to invite others to join in the fun. We’re also seeking volunteers to assist with making cotton candy, co-chairing the food booth, or helping with ticket sales. A Sign-Up Genius is in the works so keep your eyes peeled for that on our Facebook page, Principal Johnson’s weekly email and teacher emails.

PAC SHOUT OUT!

Meet Bill, he is our PAC treasurer. We can always count on him to be our voice of reason when it comes to spending...including when to splurge! He has been a PAC board member since 2019 and has 2 kids (4th and 5th grade). Bill enjoys being in the outdoors, international travel, trying new foods and loves spending time with his kids at their after-school activities.

  • 4/7-4/10: SPRING BOOK FAIR!!! Art Lit begins (through 4/25)

  • 4/10: SMS Parent night for our 5th graders (more info to come)

  • 4/11: Inside Out Day! (wear your clothes inside out)

  • 4/15: 7:15am: Passport Club
